Press release from the Arctic Economic Council
The 2019 Greenland Conference will take place on December 4 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Connectivity forms the key to business development in today’s societies, and therefore it also one of this year’s main topics at the conference. Gathering an international group of experts representing policy decision-makers, businesses and academia, the Greenland conference sheds light also on issues related to investments, start up development and mining. It also provides an opportunity to meet with Greenlandic companies. The event is organized by Danish Industry.
The Chairman of the Arctic Economic Council, Heidar Gudjonsson, is amongst the key note speakers of the 2019 Greenland conference. In his address titled “The Arctic Connection”, Mr. Gudjonsson will focus on how the Arctic can contribute to more sustainable development in the global level.
