The Arctic – while the ice is melting and the research behind it

Press release from the University of Stockholm

“The Arctic – while the ice is melting” is an exhibition that tells the ancient tale of ice, of geological history, and of how mankind pushed ever further northwards. In this film we meet the researchers behind the exhibition and hear about their experiences of working together on this three-year project.

The exhibition, at Nordiska museet in Stockholm, has been created through a collaboration between researchers throughout the Nordic region. Ethnologist Lotten Gustafsson Reinius, Hallwyl’s visiting professor at the Nordic Museum and Stockholm University, has led the three-year-long process of developing methods for research collaboration across borders between faculties and institutions.
